You can, and they sink, tilt, and grow weeds within a couple of seasons. Pavers need demo, grading, a compacted base, and drainage planned before the first stone goes down. That prep is most of our labor and it is the reason our work stays flat.

We install both, so you get a straight answer instead of a sales pitch. Concrete usually costs less up front. Pavers handle Bay Area clay soil movement better and can be repaired one stone at a time. We will look at your yard and tell you which one actually fits it.

It runs warmer than real grass in full summer sun, and cheap turf on a bad base starts looking fake fast. We use quality turf over a graded, draining base. That base work is the difference you see in our photos.

Every yard is different, so we will not guess a number on the internet. The estimate is free, the number we give you is firm, and you do not pay anything up front. You pay when the work is done and you are happy with it.
